Side by Side, Leaf Prints & lucky dragonfly

Hi all! I have a couple of cards to share with you today.

I made this card for the Kit of the Month Wednesday over at the PWCO Blog.

The adorable image is Side by Side illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller. I just adore this cute image! It's stamped on Copic X-press It cardstock, then colored with Copic markers. The image is then cut using a Petite Ovals Large die and matted with a piece of cardstock cut using a Petite Scalloped Ovals Large die before I stitched the layers together.

The patterned paper, colored cardstock, ribbon and brads are from PWCO's April PaperCard Kit. I love the fun paper from the Playground collection by Echo Park in this kit. It's perfect for boy projects, don't you think? =) The sentiment tag is cut using the Tiny Tags die and the sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set Tiny Tags.

I made this card for a blog friend who was going through a hard time a couple of weeks ago. I used the beautiful Leaf Prints from Hero Arts for the focal panel. The leaf was inked with peeled paint, it was then spritzed with some water before I stamped the first impression off on a scratch paper. I then stamped the second impression on the vintage cream paper for a fainter look. I repeated this for the rest of the piece then switched to forest moss for the darker color. The brown cardstock is embossed with the Tim Holtz Damask & Regal Flourishes (it's on sale!) textured fades embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Find Joy set also from Hero Arts.

I made this card for the poppystamps blog. Please hop over to find out more details about it. Thanks!

That's it for now. Have a beautiful day! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
